Juche Travel Services is an official sponsor of the DPRK 360 project

DPRK 360 is an independent project that aims to showcase the many aspects of the DPRK through photography. The purpose of this project is to encourage understanding of the country and uncover the mysteries that lay hidden. Through better understanding, fear can be removed and friendships can be made. The project has also pioneered the use of interactive 360 degree panoramic images of places across the DPRK, a ground-breaking achievement that attained widespread global publicity.

The project is an initiative by Mr. Aram Pan, a Singapore based photographer. It is self-funded together with some selected sponsors, of which JTS is one. Aram makes regular trips to the DPRK to photograph more of the country and has already been on several JTS tours.

The spirit of this project can be found in a DPRK folk song ‘White Dove Fly High’. The white dove is a universal symbol of peace and has been chosen to be the symbol of this project.

Aram Pan has been a photographer since 2003. He went into full time commercial photography in 2007 and has produced countless panoramas for real estates, hospitals, tourism, industrial, aerospace and many other industries.

Aram has kindly allowed use to use a multitude of his stunning photographs throughout the JTS website, for which we are very grateful.
